Corner Post
A fence post punched on two adjacent sides.
End Post
A fence post that is punched on one side only.
Gate with Latch
A gate with hinge on one end and latch on the other end.
Gate with Drop Pipe
A gate with hinge on one end and mechanism to accept another gate on the other end.
Hinge Gate Post
The fence end post which supports the gate. Also called mounting post.
Hub Rail
A fencing system using one horizontal round rail with curved posts.
Impact Modifiers

Latch Gate Post
The fence end or corner post that accepts the latch end of a gate.
Line Post
A fence post which is used in a straight line of fence.
Plank Rail
A board used as the horizontal part of the fence.
Plank Rail Lock
Holds the plank rail inside either a round post or square post.
Post Caps
Injection-molded tops for round and square posts.
Post Spacing
Distance between posts.
Radius of Curve or Curvature
Curves for arenas or to follow irregular property lines.
Rail Spacing
Distance between the rails on various styles of fence. In general, the more rails there are, the closer the spacing.
Round Rail
Round fence rail (the horizontal part of the fence).
Round Post
Used with round rails or plank rails.
Sleeve
A coupler put on the inside of two sections of hub rail to join them together.
Steel Insert
A galvanized steel pipe that fits inside a vinyl post for sturdy mounting of a gate.
Square Post
5" x 5" square extruded post that is used with plank rails only.
T-Sample
A short sample of fence post and rail complete with cap and locks.
3-Way or T-Post
A fence post punched on 3 sides that allows lines of fence to meet at a common post.
